The China Greentech Initiative (CGTI) has immediate opportunities for talented and driven professionals who desire to be leaders in accelerating China’s greentech markets. Presently, The China Greentech Initiative is looking for four detailed-oriented interns to assist with several tasks between September 1, 2013 – February 1, 2014. Internship descriptions can be found below:
  • Intern Description 1
To assist with production of the China Greentech Report 2014.
Key Qualifications:
  • Native Chinese or fluency; strong spoken and written English.
  • Strong interest in environmental issues and clean tech.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support several aspects of the Report production process including but not limited to: a) communicating with supporting organizations to collect key content needed for the Report; b) coordinating with the CGTI Partner Services team and the Report team to collect and compile partner profiles and logos to be included in the 2014 Report; c) ensuring timely delivery of Report to CGTI Partners, coordinating with research team to create a database for Report content; d) supporting Report design.
  • Support research efforts on topics ranging from distributed energy, smart grid, green buildings, low-carbon eco-cities and cleaner transportation.
Dates: September 1, 2013 – February 1, 2014
  • Intern Description 2
To support the CGTI Research and Delivery team with ad hoc research and analytical projects, interviews, and the Greentech Project Intelligence initiative.
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Native Chinese, strong English skills (written and spoken).
  • Ad hoc translation, copy-editing and research support (distributed energy, smart grid, green buildings, etc.).
  • Detailed oriented and passionate about clean tech.
Dates: September 1, 2013 – February 1, 2014
  • Intern Description 3
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Native English, strong written and spoken Chinese.
  • Ad hoc translation, copy editing and research support (distributed energy, smart grid, green buildings, etc.).
  • Detailed oriented and passionate about clean tech.
Dates: September 1, 2013 – February 1, 2014
  • Intern Description 4
To support the sales, partner services and event team with the coordination of our key event, the "China Greentech Council"
Key Qualifications:
  • Dynamic, helpful, organized, detail-oriented, meticulous, not afraid to ask when not sure. Some previous event experience preferred.
  • Chinese national with good English (reading+oral) ; or foreigner with excellent English and good Chinese (reading+oral). For Chinese candidates, minimum 4th year in university or university graduate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sept.1-15: execute outreach to send the China Greentech Report to all Chinese governmental contacts in our network, keep clear tracking documents.
  • Sept. 15-31: keep the database of participants up to date, collect all company profiles to create the event booklet, prepare participants background information to support internal preparations, logistics support on the day of the event, post-event follow-up and wrap-up actions.
Dates: September 1, 2013 – October 31, 2013; Full time or “heavy” part time (e.g. 4 days a week)
